Michael Elias Lewin
Violin

Michael (*2003 in Berlin) performs as a soloist and in a duo with his brother Mark at numerous concerts, galas and festivals. He has won 1st prizes at national and international competitions such as the 2nd Price at the Grumiaux International Violin Competition 2023, the 1st Price and three Special Prices at the Szymon Goldberg International Competition for Violin and Viola 2022, the 1st Price at the Moscow International Music Competition 2021, the 1st Price at Jugend Musiziert Bundeswettbewerb in Germany. 

He performed with Samuel Lee (Assistant Conductor Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra) in the Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie with C.P.E. Bach Orchestra, with the Chamber Orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin as well as with the LGT Young Soloists, the Khmelnytskyi Philharmonic Orchestra and the Havel Symphony Orchestra.

Michael plays a fine violin by Giuseppe Antonio Rocca, known as the “ex Malfitano”, Torino 1850, a generous loan by a member of the Stretton Society.
